Roper Access Help

• If you are a new user, you need to provide your affiliation/status and accept Roper Terms of Usage (only for the first time) to continue.
   
• Roper uses IP Address Authentication to verify that a user is from one of its Member institutions, which means you can access Roper from any University of Chicago campus computer or on-campus wireless access point. If you want to access Roper from off campus, you have the following choices:
   
  • Web Proxy.
  • SSD administrated departmental servers: Athens, Corinth, Cronus, and Rhodes. Please check our account FAQ page if you need help.
  • VPN.
  • Remote desktop. Please check help on how to set up remote desktop for Windows XP and Mac OS X.
