Social Sciences Computing Services has several guidelines and policies that are more specific to our services.

- Minimum Hardware Guidelines
- The technical specifications that you machine must meet for you to take advantage of SSD computing's networking and technical support.
- Web Guidelines
- Departmental procedures concerning department and personal webpages (both designed and maintained by SSD Computing and by other parties), as well as information concerning websites designed for specific classes.
- Trusted Agent (TAG) Program Policy
- The Trusted Agent Program (TAG) is an NSIT service that distributes limited authority to departments and divisions to grant access to one or more of the services that NSIT provides and to services outside NSIT that use the CNetID and password for authentication.
