Connecting to the monitor with a Windows PC

  1. Below the monitor, a USB-C cable is available to plug into your PC laptop.
  2. Once the USB-C cable is plugged into your laptio, the monitor will mirror your laptop. If you are happy with mirrored display, skip to step 8. If you would prefer to ‘extend’ your display, move on to step 3.
    Troubleshooting:

    1. If you cannot use the provided keyboard and mouse, unplug the USB-C cord from your laptop and plug it back in. (sometimes the monitor is identified but the keyboard and mouse are not – reconnecting solves this issue)
    2. Don’t see your laptop screen on the display? Check if monitor is on.
    3. Check behind the monitor, on the bottom right.
    4. Press the button.
  3. To extend the display, open Settings by clicking on the Start Menu and then select the gear icon (you can hover over it to see the name Settings).
  4. Select “System” from the options available.
  5. The System menu will open with the Display submenu already open. Stay in the Display submenu. You will see an option to rearrange your displays and change the brightness and color.
  6. Scroll to the bottom to the “Multiple displays” section and click on the drop-down menu that says, “Duplicate these displays.”
  7. Select “Extend these displays.” The monitor will flash briefly and you must select “Keep changes” in the prompt that appears on your PC laptop.
  8. Finally, you must turn off the Wi-Fi on your laptop. In the bottom right corner, near the time and date, click on the Wi-Fi icon.
  9. At the bottom of the menu that pops up, in the “Network & Internet settings” section, click the blue box on the lower left labeled “Wi-Fi.” (To turn your Wi-Fi back on, repeat these steps.)
