Configuring Apple Mail after Office 365 Migration


If you have a Mac and and use the Apple Mail program, you will need to change the server settings in Apple Mail after migrating to Office 365. 

Here are the instructions on changing your settings:

  1. Open Apple Mail.

  2. Click on Accounts.
  3. Select the Exchange account in the left-hand column. Then click on the Server Settings tab. Remove the checkmark from Automatically manage connection settings checkbox. Replace the internal and external URLs with and click on the Save button.

4. After clicking on the Save button, you will notice that the internal and external URLs have changed. They will now say This is normal. You may now put a check a checkmark back in the Automatically manage connections settings checkbox. When you close out of the window you will be prompted to save your settings. You should do so.
