A keyboard shortcut can save time. Once created, the keyboard shortcut can be quickly typed to fill your email address.
iPhone:
- Launch the Settings app.
- Tap General.
- Tap on Keyboard.
- Tap on Text Replacement.
- Tap on the + in the top right corner.
- In the Phrase field, type in your email address
- In the Shortcut field, type qqq
- Hit return
Android:
Non-Samsung Phones:
- Open Settings
- Scroll down to the third group of options and select ‘Languages & Input’
- Select “Personal Dictionary”
- Select “+”
- Tap the line at the top and type your email address
- Type the shortcut to use, such as qqq
Samsung Phones:
- Open Settings
- Select “General Management”
- Select “Language and Input”
- Select “On-screen keyboard”
- Select your keyboard (probably “Samsung Keyboard”)
- Select “Smart Typing”
- Select “Text Shortcuts”
- Select “Add”
- In the Shortcut field, enter the desired shortcut, such as qqq
- In the Expanded Phrase field, enter your email address
- Tap “Add” at the bottom right to enable the shortcut
